SNS Terms of Use

When using the service that Mandom Corporation ("the Company") has set up on social media ("the Service"), we request that you read and comply with the SNS Terms of Use set out below ("the Terms of Use").As soon as you start using the Service, we will assume that you have agreed to the following:

1. Basic Policy

The Service displays communications and contents released by the Company. The Company regularly checks comments uploaded by users and if any are deemed to be inappropriate even though it is of relevance to the Service, the Company may delete these. Please note that the Service may be terminated or deleted without warning.
Please note that contributions made to the Service or comments from users are not necessarily official announcements from the Company.
As a rule, the Company does not reply to comments made by users. If you have any questions, please refer to the FAQ section on the Mandom website.

2. Terms of Use

Users' comments, images, videos and other contributions to the Service does not mean agreement or reflection of the views and ideas held by the Company, our employees or other affiliated organizations. The Company will not be held liable for any comments or contents uploaded by users.

3. Definition of Deletion

If any of the items listed below apply to any comment and or content uploaded, the Company will delete the said comment or content or take other necessary action without notifying the user concerned.

  • Attacks on a specific individual
  • Defamation of another company
  • Defamation of the Company
  • Material identifying personal information
  • Material set up for online dating or for a similar purpose
  • Material suggesting visits to other sites
  • Material considered as discrimination
  • Content that is illegal, undermines public order and standards of decency, or contains obscenity
  • Acts of violence
  • Libel or slander
  • An infringement of intellectual property rights or at risk of infringement
  • Enquiries and views about the Company
  • Other material that the Company deems inappropriate

4. Prohibited Action

All users must act in accordance with the Terms of Use of each SNS and the Terms of Use of the Service. The Company regularly checks comments made by users and prohibits actions to which any of the following applies.

  • Libel, abuse, harassment, stalking, threat and any other action that threatens the legal rights of others (e.g. violation of privacy)
  • Material or information that is slanderous, in infringement of rights, obscene, unjust, misleading or illegal, or action that publishes, uploads, distributes or diffuses any of these
  • Attaching or uploading of any file that diffuses information that is in infringement of intellectual property rights or contains elements that may infringe these rights (excluding attachments or uploads when the user owns the rights or has already obtained all necessary consent)
  • Material that contains any virus or other content that may cause damage to computers belonging to other parties, or links to any software or program that is similar to any such material
  • Sending of computer program, hidden files or similar software that may cause damage, or saving of any of these
  • Preventing access to the Service or partial use thereof by other users
  • Hacking or illegal or other methods to obtain access to account information, computer system or network connected to the Company's server
  • Use in some form without prior permission from the Company of any copyright material, brand name, logo or image

5. Copyright and Other Rights

The Company own the rights relating to the copyright of contents uploaded by the Company (e. g. writing, reference material, image, audio) and trademarks (e.g. trade name, registered trademark, logo, service mark), or the Company has obtained the rights to uploading these from a third party.Users must upload material without infringing any of the above-mentioned rights. We prohibit any reproduction without permission from the rightsholder of photograph, video image or writing concerned.

6. Changes to the Terms of Use

The Company reserves the right to change the Terms of Use without obtaining consent from users.If such a change is made, the Terms of Use will become effective at the time when it is published or displayed on the Company website.
